About PRATHAM
PRATHAM is a specialized 8-week training program designed for hepatologists worldwide to enhance their competencies in managing Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) in patients with liver disease.

Why PRATHAM?
Alcohol Use Disorder is a critical comorbidity in patients with liver disease. Hepatologists are uniquely positioned to identify, intervene, and manage AUD in their patients. PRATHAM equips hepatologists with evidence-based tools and techniques for comprehensive AUD management.
Learning Objectives
On completion of PRATHAM, participants will be able to:
- Screen and evaluate persons with Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD)
- Identify and manage Alcohol Withdrawal Syndrome
- Select appropriate pharmacological agents for long-term treatment in persons with AUD
- Deliver brief psychological interventions for persons with AUD

Completion Certificate Criteria
To receive the Certificate of Completion, participants must fulfill ALL of the following:
- Pre and Post Assessment: Complete both assessments
- Attendance: Presence in 6 out of 8 tele-ECHO clinic Zoom sessions
- Case Discussion: One case discussion during tele-ECHO clinic (Case Record Form submission)
- E-Assignment: Score >75% (Available May 15 for 48 hours)
Important: Cases to be presented in Live TELE-ECHO sessions should be submitted at least one week prior to the desired date of presentation using the prescribed Case Record Form.
