Background
Training, mentoring and hand-holding the non-specialist doctors as well as other counselors to provide quality mental health and Addiction care in their own districts under District Mental Health Program (DMHP). To strengthen the Capacity to provide quality care in Mental health and Addiction in 27 districts of Chhattisgarh by digitally connecting with NIMHANS.
Objectives
At the end of the courses, learners will be able to:
- Identification, screening for mental health disorders (CMD, SUD and SMD) and factors influencing it
- Ability to decide and provide “best practices” in psychosocial intervention
- Maintaining follow up using contemporary technology
- Periodic discussion with NIMHANS team at VKN tele-ECHOO clinics
