Centre for Addiction Medicine through Virtual Knowledge Network ECHO HUB and Spokes model conducted a course on mental health and addiction for Psychologists and Social Workers. The duration of the course was 7 months, from May 2018 to November 2018. Every fortnightly (Thursdays), the remote health providers joined through multi-point video conferencing zoom app between 9.30AM to 12PM and discussed their cases with the NIMHANS experts. The objective was on skill-based learning so that the remote patients get specialized care without travelling far place. Seventeen of spokes have become ‘Experts” in this area.
